Self Monitoring – When one of your Fire Alert sensors detects either a sound from your smoke alarm/CO alarm, or detects water/freezing temperatures, you get an instant push alert on your smart phone, a text, and an email. Some homeowner’s insurance companies will discount your premium for having this option, sometimes covering the monthly cost of $0.
-Existing Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms in the home.
-Homes with “interconnected” alarms only require one audio sensor.
(non-interconnected alarms need an audio sensor next to each alarm to be monitored)
-Internet Service and an available port on the router.
-AC power outlet within four feet of the router to plug in Gateway.
-Apple IOS or Android Smartphone for operating the app.
